Luma, Melbourne | Lighting

In Jan/Feb of 2021 I was given a side project for the series finale of Wandavision. Luma was tasked with creating the light energy absorbing effects for Monica Rambeau which required a tight loop between FX, lighting, and comp in order to iterate efficiently through the design process. To make it simple one person from each department was involved, with myself being responsible for ingesting all of the FX aovs, devising shaders for numerous experimental passes, and attending to the basic lighting and refraction of the physical bullets in the shot.  Jacob Santamaria did an amazing job on FX and Gregory Ng really took the comp to another level - I do love how this turned out especially the side shots.
